Slavery no more.... are you sure? - outline

This article shall talk about slavery, with aid from the material from weekend today that I obtained from the bus.

The start of the article, will begin with some examples of the dreadfulness of old days slavery. Some images maybe useful. Illustration from movies need to be researched, and linked to the real slavery that used to happen in Indonesia under dominion of the Dutch colonization and Japanese will be great.

Move on to talk about the movie Amazing Grace that was shown on the cinema. Talks about how William Wilberforce persevere for 20 years in order to abolish the slavery system. Talk about how John Newton who was previously a slave trader wrote the song Amazing Grace.

Talk about how the modern world every where celebrates freedom, as if they are really free. Is the true form of slavery not exist anymore in the modern day? think again.

Cover story about Slavery in China, what kind of industry, how the slaves are captured, how they were treated, beaten, sleep and killed and thrown off the cliff. How the local government turn a blind eye on the situation. How the local people just trying to ignore and pretend nothing has happened. What is the on going thing. now

Talk about in our home land, indonesia. Sex industry in Batam, Bintan and Balai. Talk about the how the women are fooled, tricked to work in Batam, with intention to may be work in singapore, or other office works. How the people who tricked them are actually their relatives or neighbours. Talk about even the child prostitution that is equally rampant

conclude that in modern days, slavery-in its purest form- still exist.

But all those that happen in the past during war time, dark era, and the newly uncovered schemes are just what the eyes can see. What about those that we cannot see? Is it true that everyone in living in the 'free america' is free indeed? how about those in Norwegia, the so called nation with the highest quality of life?

All of us are, or were slaves to sin. Since the fall, we were under the influence by sin. Some of us may be freed by Christ, and we are called Christian. But among the Christians, how many are truely free that may live their life freely to proclaim Christ lives in them? many has fallen, or stay captured and haunted by their past, or even current transgressions. How about those that have yet to be freed from the bondage of sin?

Christ has the power to free you from the bondage. He is the bondage-breaker. Do you have the courage to say "Yes" and follow Him?
